We believe that Baptism symbolizes the washing away of our sin by the grace of God. It represents the death and rebirth of the Jesus-follower and the new life we have in Christ. All who repent and turn away from their sin and trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior are invited to be baptized as Scripture teaches in Acts 2:38. We also believe God works through the water to empower us for the journey of faith in ways that we cannot comprehend. Profession of faith and baptism are just the beginning of our walk with Christ, not the end. As United Methodists, we do celebrate infant baptisms, but we leave the decision on timing with the parents. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Ron Garner.
